I grew up in Berkeley, California. It was my pleasure to attend Mills College, a small liberal arts college for women in Oakland. Initially, I was going to be a lawyer; however, after taking a year of economics, I changed my major! In addition to Mills, I have studied economics at the University of California at Berkeley, Howard University, Georgetown University and Yale University. My graduate work was done at Marymount University in Fairfax, Virginia and there I studied Finance. I am currently enrolled in the New York Institute of Photography. My career of over twenty years has focused on technology as odd as it may sound. I have worked for big banks and financial institutions on the East Coast and London. Since moving to Texas, I have changed my career path to Project Management for large-scale electrical systems. I am most proud of being a Christian, my marriage and my little girl. I am active in my church where I serve with the Minister’s Wives, Widows and Engaged Auxiliary and Hospitality/Greeters. Socially, I am a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, The Links and Jack & Jill of America, Inc. My hobbies include photography, ceramics, listening to gospel music, watching Law & Order, visiting museums, traveling and reading. My father had a camera all of my years growing up as a little girl. He passed away when I was 9, and I inherited his love for photography. It gives me great pleasure to continue his legacy and to allow his love for the arts to live on through me!
